how to install printer in laptop

 

Here's a quick how-to guide on installing a printer in your laptop. If you're trying to do it by yourself:

1. Find your laptop's USB port and plug-in the printer into the computer. If you don't know which port is, look for the one with lots of cables sticking out of it.

#2 download software from printer's website (if not supplied) and install on your computer. One way is to download the file onto a USB stick and transfer to your laptop or just open up web browser settings in order to print email or web page within browser tab that has url/address bar, then select print option as shown below

3. Connect your printer to the PC via USB, and then follow on-screen instructions to finish installation.

When your printer is installed, you head here:

1. If you only want to print labels and not documents, open the print spooler app under accessories in right-hand menubar (also double-click to open up a new window)

2. Select the printer that you just installed

3. Then select settings tab. This shows up how many documents are currently saved on each spooler entry in which computers are connected to your computer within wireless network range and also how many photos, labels and other prints from that machine have already been printed when all has been done manually by user.

4. Now the fun part. Click on label button, then click add

5. Put in values for Print Name, Type and Size.

6. Now you can print your labels, whether it's a single label or multiple labels as shown below in image

7.: If you have a document to print manually that you have saved on your computer and want to use the spooler , click on document button

8.: Click add

 9. Click on document name, type and size you want to print.

10. Click print button. You can check on spooler section that tells you how many documents are currently waiting to be printed

11. Then click Done and close this window, or if you want immediately print a document and do not use the spooler , click Print buttonon your menu bar (which is where you may find similar buttons as well in addition to Printer) and then select the document(s).

If you want to stop using printer in laptop:

1.: Open your laptop's program folder

2.: Select Start >> Control Panel >> Hardware and Sound >> Devices & Printers

3. Select 'Change Printer' >> Locate your printer already installed in the list.

4. Right click on your printer and select 'Remove Hardware'.

5. Remove USB cable from computer & remove paper tray to empty out printer's inside (careful not to rip any wires)

6.: Disconnect your USB cable from computer & remove power cord from outlet

7. Remove the label using label tape, peel off tape carefully, don't tear it off because it is only a label and will not damage your computer or anything like that if you accidentally rip it with bare hands or scissors, etc... Save it for later use on other items like water bottles or bags (if you want) when you go to recycle those plastic bags.
